Each year, young ladies from
Iowa County compete for the title of "Miss Iowa County" and a
chance to represent Iowa County at the Iowa State Fair Queen
Contest in Des Moines. Queens then represent Iowa County
in a variety of events around Iowa County following their coronation and assist in
the following year's ceremony.
