Building Expansion Kickoff Meeting


    The Iowa County Fairgrounds livestock buildings are getting a facelift.   The last livestock buildings that have been updated were done in the 1990's.  The cattle and horse facilities were built in the early 1950's.  The show arena was built in 1969.  We have fielded many requests for updated livestock facilities.  Thus we have started the process of upgrading some of the livestock facilities at the Fairgrounds.  The plans are to start by updating the cattle/sheep facilities.  We have a lot of ideas and information put together  that we would like to share with you.  Please join us to learn about our exciting future plans.

    The Kickoff meeting will be held in Zentmire Hall at the Iowa County Fairgrounds in Marengo.  The meeting is on Thursday, January 26th at 7:00 PM.  If we have inclement weather the meeting will be delayed one week to February 2nd.  This change of date will be posted on this website.

    We will be handing out a packet of information at the meeting.  If you are unable to attend and would like a packet mailed to you, feel free to call the Fairgrounds office at 319-642-5406.  You can also email us at webmaster@theiowacountyfair.com.  Please provide Name, Address, City and Zip Code.
