Bill Riley Iowa State Fair Talent Search July 14, 2007, 6:00 pm Iowa County Fairgrounds Entertainment Tent The 2007 Iowa County Fair will be the fifth time the Iowa County Fairboard has sponsored this prestigious competition for all youth in Iowa County. Each year, contestants from Iowa County and the state of Iowa travel to Marengo to earn a chances to participate in the Bill Riley Iowa State Fair Talent Search. 2007 will mark the 48th Annual Bill Riley Iowa State Fair Talent Search Championship. In 2005, More than 200 acts competed for more than $16,000 in prize money from Farm Bureau Financial Services. In order to compete at the competition at the Iowa State Fair, contestants must win one of multiple local competitions held throughout the summer prior to the Iowa State Fair. The Iowa County Fair Competition is one of those qualifying shows!!
